FO Friday: Chewie Hat

Last year my brother sat in Children’s Hospital and had his head, well, sheared. I joked that, pre-shearing, he looked like a Wookiee. Because we’re both huge nerds, he appreciated the comparison so much that I told him I would make him a Chewbacca hat when he finally had it all cut off. My last act of 2015 was to… Read more →

Resolution Check In

We’re 1/4 of the way through the year now (HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?!) and here’s how I’m doing on New Year’s resolutions: Blog schedule: F (Self-discipline, where you at?) I’ve been knitting up a storm lately, working on projects for display at StevenBe and designing accessories. I’m going to start putting some items… Read more →

Frozen Four

Tonight my college hockey team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, is playing Boston College in the Frozen Four. It’s 2-0 BC right now but I keep the faith. I haven’t been able to watch this season; we stopped paying for cable TV before they started playing. Still, graduation and lack of television doesn’t stop one from being a Gopher. Distance, painful… Read more →
