Year in Numbers: 2014!

28 books read (Half of last year–I am ashamed. Best of the year, though: The Drop by Dennis Lehane. Only read it if you’re willing to believe the worst about everyone.)

47 knits bound off (Down again here but it’s okay. I finally finished a lace project [Haruni in Jade Sapphire Sylph], but my favorite is my Bigger on the Inside because wibbly wobbly pooling!)

10 patterns published to Ravelry (Another banner year for DrawFour Designs, plus another 2 coming soon to kick off 2015 right. My favorite pattern child, though, is the Deep Breath Mitts–it’s so versatile!)

2 hair colors (I did not have more fun as a blonde, just for reference.)

1 hero met (Stay shiny, Nathan Fillion.)

10 years of life with my husband (And still so happy with him.)

2 editing jobs (Woo! Words! I edited both Stephen & Steven Tour pattern books.)

2 cons attended (Wizard World, where I met Nathan Fillion and he took a picture of my Browncoat yarn, and CONsole Room, where I ran a booth for StevenBe and got to geek out with my fellow Whovians AND speak in a panel about knitting!)

To celebrate 2014’s glorious end and 2015’s promising beginning (and finally having watched Parks & Recreation), I’m having a Donna-and-Tom-inspired Treat Yo Self Sale. All of my patterns on Ravelry are 50% off, no coupon code needed. All of the stitch markers and project bags here on are 20% off with code TREATYOSELF. Sale ends on 1/19, so jump on it!

Just a note to Thank you for the complimentary stitch marker. Mine is blue (my favorite color). I am delighted. I will cherish it forever.
